Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Telecommunications Technician to join our team. As a Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various telecommunications systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with telecommunication systems, including phone lines, internet connections, and network equipment
- Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of telecommunications systems
- Test and evaluate new telecommunications products and technologies
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and resolve technical issues
- Provide technical support to customers and assist with resolving any telecommunication-related problems
- Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Telecommunications Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems and equipment
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment
- Familiarity with computer hardware and networking concepts
- Experience with IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) and alarm system sales is a plus
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers
Must Have a valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
