**Position Overview**
This is an annual seasonal role focused on compliance with the Hydro Land Management Plan as mandated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
**Key Responsibilities**

• Conduct patrols of Consumers Energy Hydro Plant impoundment backwater lands located along the Manistee and Au Sable Rivers.
• Monitor for recreational trespassing and educate the public about proper land use on Consumers Energy properties.
• Post signage, remove litter, and work collaboratively with law enforcement for effective land management.
• Prepare detailed reports and engage professionally with the public.

**Qualifications**

• Proficiency in reading maps and utilizing GPS and GIS technologies.
• Strong communication skills and experience in report writing are essential.
• A background in law enforcement and relevant college education are preferred.
