Job DescriptionOperating Machinery:
- Operate production machines based on blueprints and route sheets.
- Assist in lean initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Receive general guidance while working in a team setting.
- Set up and operate production machines.
- Perform various machine operations according to established plans.
- Adjust machine settings and report any issues.
- Inspect parts for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and reliability.
- Actively participate in lean initiatives for process improvement.
- Adhere to company policies, safety rules, and maintain a clean work area.
- Minimum of two years of machining experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.
- Proficiency in machine shop mathematics.
- Strong communication skills and a team player.
- Familiarity with using job-specific software applications.
- Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others.
- Required to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
- Demonstrated manual dexterity and ability to operate machinery.
- Close vision abilities required.
- Regular attendance and ability to work effectively with others.
