Key Responsibilities**Production Coordination:**
- Update the production and inventory control system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Stage and coordinate work across manufacturing areas to meet schedules efficiently.
- Communicate with support groups for corrective actions on work orders.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts between the shop and business teams as a liaison.
- Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in paperwork or system information.
- Coordinate with various functional groups to develop and implement daily work schedules and capacity plans.
- Monitor and resolve short-term capacity conflicts through staffing reassignments, alternate machine utilizations, etc.
- Adjust workloads in coordination with manufacturing and production planning to avoid bottlenecks.
- Participate in team meetings to achieve goals related to schedules, quality, and cost.
- Update information using CRT or computer for special scheduling needs. Prepare customer status reports and respond to shipping inquiries.
- Assist in new parts procurement and processed parts requirements on a daily basis.
- Track work order and purchase order status to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Develop and implement procedures to enhance departmental productivity.
- Provide support by ordering prints and set-up sheets, and moving materials using equipment as needed.
- Train and assist less experienced employees.
- Adhere to company safety rules and regulations while performing all responsibilities.
