Seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Buyer, responsible for executing a wide range of purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will excel in negotiating with suppliers to secure high-quality products and services at optimal value, all while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and organizational objectives.
**Job Responsibilities**

• Conduct complex purchasing tasks, such as negotiating prices, volume discounts, terms, and long-term contracts with suppliers
• Secure favorable terms with suppliers to obtain high-quality products/services at the best value
• Develop criteria for evaluating supplier quotations, including target pricing
• Evaluate supplier quotations and make decisions on purchase order awards
• Ensure that all purchase orders comply with formal contractual documentation, incorporating corporate and government requirements
• Address discrepancies between purchase order requirements and supplier performance
• Uphold compliance with government laws, regulations, and procurement policies
• Identify and address problem areas promptly, setting resolution dates as needed
• Maintain accurate purchase order data in the purchasing system, including delivery dates, pricing, and change orders
• Perform additional duties as delegated
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters
• Adhere to a consistent attendance policy and be open to working variable schedules, including nights and weekends, as required

• Proficiency in Procurement principles within the aerospace/manufacturing sector
• Ability to draft specifications, create bid documents, manage bidding processes, and analyze bid outcomes
• Successful track record in negotiating license contracts
• Strong problem-solving skills based on comprehensive data analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on task completion
