ResponsibilitiesAs a Contract Customer Support Engineer (CCSE), your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers and OEM divisions to troubleshoot technical issues related to products. You will specifically focus on investigating field failures and providing support to the engineering teams at the SSO-Irvine division. Additionally, you will assist with failure investigations for the Gulfstream G650 flight control system bill of materials and provide support for the Control Systems Division in Dublin, Georgia. Scope Of Work
Failure analysis reports: Coordinate EHSV investigations, create work instructions, witness tests, and document activities at the component or sub-component level.
Seller Engineering Memo (SEM) support: Assist in creating SEMs.
Support FAR Telecoms: Participate in meetings as required.
Update internal FAR tracker.
Provide on-site support at the MFCD-Dublin location.
Report activity and progress.
Support related to Stratoflex division products by responding to customer inquiries and coordinating investigations with engineering teams.
Expectations
Anticipate a minimum of 24 hours per week, with the potential to increase to 30 hours.
Minimum commitment of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
Flexibility in working hours based on project requirements.
Occasional travel to interface with various divisions such as SSO-Irvine, MFCD-Irvine, CFCD-Ogden, Gulfstream, and Stratoflex. MFCD Dublin support is considered a commute, not business travel.
