Job Summary
Works in collaboration with the Quality Management Team to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and ensure patient safety/risk management opportunities are properly addressed. Ensures that the Hospital incorporates and utilizes methods to improve the safe administration of care to all clinical processes. Promotes a culture to ensure that safety is perceived as a major factor, and proactively develops strategies to maximize patient safety.

Work Experience
One year of supervisory/management experience required. Strong clinical experience in patient safety, risk management or performance improvement required.
License/Registration/Certification
1. Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas required.
2. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Risk Management (CPHRM Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Manager) preferred.
Education and Training
Bachelor degree in Nursing required. Master degree preferred.
