UMFS is Hiring an Associate Director of Behavioral Health (LCSW or LPC) Near Richmond, VA

Job DescriptionWho we are:
Child & Family Healing Center provides 24- hour intensive residential treatment on UMFS’s staff-secure, unlocked 33-acre campus. Our multidisciplinary team integrates Collaborative Problem Solving™ with family engagement, psychiatry, nursing, verbal and non-verbal therapies, social work, and counseling.
What we do:We collaborate with communities in a Systems of Care approach to ensure successful transition into residential treatment, through intervention, and back into the community.
We assess strengths and executive functioning to develop treatment goals for youth and families.
Who We Serve:We serve males, females, and gender-diverse youth ages 11-17 at time of admission, who are in the custody of their parent/guardian, the Department of Social Services, or the Department of Juvenile Justice, and have a minimum IQ of 65 (evaluated on a case-by-case basis).

What we are looking for:An Associate Director to research, develop, and revise therapeutic program and service delivery on a regular basis to keep up with current trends best practice. Direct clinical service delivery to clients through therapist and case management staff. Research, develop and revise treatment planning according to evidence-based practices from assessment to discharge. Oversee admission standards and acceptance of clients to be served and maintains census expectations.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise therapist staff and case managers. May provide supervision for licensure. Assume responsibility for the supervision process for no more than 8 full time direct-report employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
What you will need:Master's degree, Ph.D. or equivalent in a Board of Health Professions field of clinical practice and must be licensed. Must have or be eligible to take required coursework and supervision for C-SOTP designation through the Virginia Board of Psychology. Must also have at least one year supervisory/managing teams experience.
