UNC Finance and Operations is Hiring an Executive Director of Transportation and Parking Near Chapel Hill, NC
The Executive Director of Transportation and Parking serves as the University's strategic advisor and chief resource for transportation services, parking operations, and transportation strategic planning. This position serves as the University's representative on multiple community planning and governance committees and oversees a team of individuals who support the operations and policy development for these areas. These include the major functional areas Transportation, Planning, and Parking Operations, and shared oversight of Fiscal Services. The position has direct authority to manage and negotiate with entities on the Chapel Hill Transit (CHT) Partnership. The Executive Director also leads the University's transportation and parking functions during large-scale campus events, such as athletic events and celebrations, and maintains transportation functions and infrastructure during campus emergencies in accordance with Emergency Support Function (ESF) # 1 protocols. The position reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Real Estate and Campus Enterprises.
