UNC Health Southeastern is Hiring a NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIST Near Lumberton, NC
- POSITION SUMMARY
- Produces nuclear medicine images and performs related procedures under the clinical direction of a Radiologist. Provides a safe patient environment. Participates in other necessary activities in suppor of departmental operations.

- EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Required:
- Graduation from a CAHEA (AMA) accredited radiography program, or the equivalent.
- Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, with up to date continuing education credits.
- Incumbent must successfully complete an OJT program under the supervision of a qualified physician, or complete a formal training program for nuclear medicine, if not certified in nuclear medicine.
- BLS certified; recertification required annually.

- Preferred:
- Associate Degree in radiography and ARRT certified or graduate of an accredited school or program of Nuclear Medicine upon hire.
- Current registration with American Registry of Nuclear Medicine Technologists or Certification by Nuclear Medicine Certification Board with up to date continuing education credits.
