Summary:
The Customer Service Representative performs clinic clerical tasks, such as registering patients, communicating financial obligation, and collecting fees. Additional responsibilities include various clerical work and administrative/ business details such as scheduling appointments, giving information to callers, reading and routing incoming mail, filing correspondence and other records, and other assigned clerical duties.

Responsibilities:

• Audits all patient charges and codes for accuracy in surgical services departments. Reconciles charges prior to billing.
• Prepares and presents charge capture metrics to departmental leadership.
• Coordinates action with stakeholders across organization to resolve patient inquiries and billing questions.
• Collaborates with vendors and clinical team to develop quotes for requested equipment and products for new and existing surgical service lines.
• Coordinates and participates in surgical services strategic planning meetings.
• Manages approved product trials by collecting and reporting required outcome metrices.
• Assists with supply management duties by:
• Checking, accepting, and signing for deliveries from distributors as necessary
• Inspecting shipments and completing receipt process
• Moving and stocking supplies to appropriate locations once receiving is complete.
• Maintains approved product par levels
• Participates in midyear and year-end inventory counts.
• Collaborates with Materials Management, Accounts Payable, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
