This is a 1099 job at a 3 day event (Riverfront Food Truck Festival)

Job dates are 7/17 - 7/20

Overview:

Join our team as Event Staff and be part of creating memorable experiences for our guests. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about events and customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in event setup, including arranging furniture and decorations
- Greet guests and provide excellent customer service throughout the event
- Manage guest inquiries and provide information about the event
- Support event activities such as games, contests, or performances
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all attendees
- Handle cash transactions at event booths or ticket counters
- Assist in cleaning up after events

Qualifications:

- Experience in customer service or guest services preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication skills and comfortable with public speaking
- Conflict management skills to handle any issues that may arise during events
- Knowledge of food service or experience in serving food at events is a plus
- Lifeguard certification or experience is beneficial for events involving water activities
- Previous experience working with children is advantageous
- Familiarity with theater productions or events management is a bonus

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Hartford, CT (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Hartford, CT: Relocate before starting work (Required)
