Purpose:

Develops optimal slotting solutions that support consistent efficiencies in network distribution centers (DCs)

Job Responsibilities: 

• Creates slotting profile for analysts to use to optimize work in the Distribution Center
• Works with DC leadership to understand challenges and proposes new ideas for optimal slotting
• Observes work flow at the DC level to understand where slotting solutions would be most impactful
• Work with various national and DC teams to ensure proper facility slot profiles that maximize efficiency, making the best use of available space and assets.
• Provide relevant data from various WM systems and regular updates to Director of Slotting Optimization and Process Excellence team
• Able to create effective solutions to support improved DC efficiency
• Performs other relevant job duties as required

Job Requirements: 

Education/ Experience/ combination of education training and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or Minimum 5 years’ experience in front line warehouse operations

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

• Able to work effectively with DC leadership
• Able to work effectively with Process Excellence partners to ensure optimized outcomes
• Able to produce optimized and service-oriented solutions in a timely manner
• Clear understanding of various IC systems
• Able to customize and tailor outcomes to meet specific needs based on DC various constraints
• Able to work independently and effectively with diverse teams of varying experience.
• Ability to travel frequently and work onsite at DC’s is required
