The Engineer III, Manufacturing supports manufacturing process improvements by following established design control processes and engineering/documentation best practices. Their primary role is to sustain and enhance production. With guidance from senior engineers and managers, they handle intermediate projects and occasionally assist with complex tasks.
Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (Engineering or Technology)
• 6 - 10 years experience.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Engineering leadership to enhance manufacturing system performance (e.g., OEE improvements, maintenance needs, scrap reduction, MUV optimization).
Manage project timelines and milestones, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
Support CAPA tasks and deliverables (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
Apply systematic root cause analysis to develop robust technical solutions.
Basic knowledge of automation, plastic injection molding, part assembly, fixturing, testing, and process control techniques.
Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., DOE, Process Capability, Gage R&R).
Preferably knowledgeable about the Medical Device Industry and FDA QSR Regulations.
Proficient in SolidWorks with mechanical understanding and tool design experience.
Skilled in technical writing.
