About us

We are seeking a Low Voltage Cable Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will install Category Cable, Fiber Optic Cable, Security, Access Control, Paging, Audio-Visual cabling, etc. in commercial, educational and industrial locations.

Responsibilities:

• Work with other team members in the installation of low voltage cabling.
• Terminate, label and test cabling as required.
• Install / Mount Wireless Access Points, Security Cameras, Electric Door Strikes, Magnetic Locks, Network Racks, Cabinets, Cable Trays, Patch Panels, Data Switches, Amplifiers, Speakers, TV's, etc.
• Install and configure Network Video Recorders, Access Control Systems, Paging Systems and Network Hardware.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in tele-data cabling and familiarity with networking / telecommunications equipment is helpful but not required.
• We will train the right person who has strong analytical & critical thinking skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar using Microsoft Excel and Word.'

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 75 – 90 per week

Experience:

• Cabling: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BICSI or Manufacturer's Certifications (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Required)
