Since 2013, our site Unither Manufacturing LLC. based in Rochester (NY), specializes in the manufacture of Blow-Fill-Seal, Liquid Stick-Packs, Pharmaceutical bottles, Tablets and Capsules. It has more than 280 employees.

Your role

Reporting to the Senior IT Manager,

JOB SUMMARY:
The role balances the delivery of IT projects and operational supportservices. Project responsibilities support short term tactical requirements ofthe site. Operational responsibilities include end user support and clientincident, problem and work order resolution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzes and assesses business impact and urgency of incidents/problems affecting client systems availability, function and/or performance to develop work priorities.
Resolves client system Incidents and Problems impacting local business operations according to business impact priority.
Escalates issues as required to Central IT and/or vendor Support.
Tracks and documents incident and problem-solving actions and results through to completion.
Analyzes and assesses business impact and urgency of work order requests impacting client system access and use to develop work priorities.
Fulfills all assigned work order requests according to business impact priority.
Tracks and documents work order request actions taken and results achieved through to final completion.
Maintains adequate communication with owner for tickets which are addressed over a period of time.
Creates and maintains client infrastructure procedures and system configuration documents.
Proactively utilizes data to prevent occurrences that may impact client systems availability, function and/or performance.
Trains and instructs business users with client system operation and use.
Ensures client systems meet business and user requirements.
Manage client system, hardware and small-scale application projects.
Analyzes existing client system procedures and practices with emphasis on continual function and performance improvement.
Researches and maintains knowledge of industry best practice client system deployment and management solutions.
Recommends client system operational process functional enhancements.
Consolidates, standardizes and simplifies client system configurations and landscape where value is to be gained.
Assists with training business application key / super users and administrators.
Integrates and interfaces applications and data repositories.

SPECIFIC SKILLS:
ApplicationExperience: Office Automation Applications (i.e.; Microsoft, Adobe etc.)
Client Hardware and Operating Systems (i.e.; HP, Microsoft)
Mobile Computing Hardware and Operating Systems (i.e.; Apple, Samsung, Microsoft Mobile/CE, IOS, Android etc.)
Printing Hardware
Client Networking Protocols
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENT:
Standard Office Environment
Limited lifting less than 30 Pounds (Less than 10%)
Limited bending and reaching (Less than 10%)
Limited stooping, crouching and crawling (Less than 5%)
Walking throughout the facility to other work locations (75%)
Moving equipment on wheeled carts throughout facility
Frequent visits to GMP Gowned Clean Manufacturing and Packaging Areas

Your profile

Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Compensation range

20.00 - 20.00 USD

*The referenced compensation range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
