What you’ll do

• Perform month-end close duties including journal entry preparation and Balance Sheet reconciliations

• Analyze financial data to prepare financial statements including variance analysis

• Conduct various aspects of Inventory Management and Control
• Perform Cycle Counts of Finished Goods
• Track and enter inventory adjustments

• Perform banking tasks, such as check by phone, wire transfers, positive pay, and research and resolve aged outstanding checks
• Prepare local and corporate reports in accordance with the monthly/quarterly/annual schedules
• Recommend and develop process improvements and suggest recommendations to business or financial challenges
• Assist with the creation of the annual budget
• Assist in financial audit preparation (internal and external)
• Support and backup to Customer invoicing and Accounts Payable processes
• Build effective relationships with all levels of management and employees within the company
• Perform other responsibilities as needs arise

What you need to succeed

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting
• 0-3 years Accounting experience
• Customer service orientation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Passion and curiosity to learn and to stretch your talents
• Planning, organizing, and prioritizing abilities
• Spirit of collaboration
• Excellent Excel skills

Great to have’s

• Manufacturing background
• Experience with ERP & FP&A systems (we use Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Adaptive)
