International Baccalaureate (IB) Coordinator:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborating with members of a school leadership team
• Work cooperatively, with all staff, in administering the instructional program in all core subjects, with focus on aligning with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years 
• Collaborating with the special education team, as needed
• Observing and giving regular feedback to teachers
• Participate in school meetings, as needed
• Assess student data for effectiveness of teaching and learning
• Identify, plan, and implement needed professional development in preparation for IB Middle Years Program
• Demonstrate teaching strategies with students, when needed, to support instructional staff
• Evaluate and select instructional materials in cooperation with instructional staff
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s Degree Preferred
• Middle or High School Teaching Experience
• IB experience required

COMPENSATION:

Based on Experience, Degree/certification, NC State Salary Guide, and Union County Licensed Teacher Supplement.
