CNA Position Purpose :
The primary purpose of your job description is to participate in the basic nursing care of the patient from admission through discharge and to perform non-nursing functions.
This position is responsible to the nurses, Charge Nurse, and manager.
Requirements :
Education - High School Graduate or GED
Experience : Minimum - Up to 1 year of job related experience
Maximum - 2 - 5 years of recent related experience
Licenses / Certificates - Certified Nursing Assistant - State of GA or Medical Assistant Certification - or - equivalent education as a Nursing Student for those nursing students actively enrolled in a nursing program (i.
e. 1st Semester of basic nursing skills completed with skills checklist verified) - BLS - Obtain within 60 days of hire.
