Job Title: Project Coordinator, Men's Programs
Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 annually
Location: Onsite at 435 University Ave. E., Saint Paul, MN 55130
Physical Setting: Emergency shelter/transitional housing environment.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator manages the on-time delivery of projects focused on our men’s programs. This will involve communicating with staff and clients, making decisions, and monitoring the progress of projects to keep them on schedule and within budget. Reporting to the VP of Men’s Programs, this role will collaborate with a high-energy team committed to exceptional customer service and extraordinary hospitality.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management
  • Creates long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones to meet deadlines
  • Delegates tasks to best position them for completion
  • Makes effective decisions on projects when presented with multiple options for how to progress the project
  • Serves as a point of contact for teams to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Performs quality control on projects throughout development to maintain expected standards
  • Adjusts schedules and targets on project(s) as needed for project change
  • Coordinates with program directors to accomplish projects that cross multiple programs.
Administrative
  • Develops and manages standard operating procedures, handbooks and policy documentation
  • Creates additional program documents and materials as needed
  • Maintains accurate master program calendar
  • Orders supplies and other administrative tasks
  • Develops agendas and creates notes with action items at all team meetings
General
  • Maintains cooperative relationships and communication within the program team, other departments and external constituents to maintain an environment conducive to idea exchange and support for the achievement of project objectives
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication and customer service skills to work effectively with a team, as well as in a wide range of constituencies in a culturally diverse community
  • Ability to manage financial transactions accurately, honestly and with integrity
  • Expansive organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiently skilled with Microsoft Office applications to enter data, track, compile and report on program statistics
  • Ability to read, understand and follow safety and other instructions and procedures
  • Ability to maintain residents’ confidentiality in accordance with all policies and applicable laws
  • Committed to serving those experiencing homelessness, hunger and addiction
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT:
  • Work is performed in an emergency shelter/transitional housing environment and involves physical effort encountered in normal, everyday office activities.
