Our family restaurant is conveniently located between both CMU and Pitt campuses, making the position ideal for a student. Additionally, this means our establishment expects to enter a "busy season" when school is in session, and are adding on several staffing members for the influx of volume.

The shifts would be approximately 11:30-3 for lunch service, and/or 5-9 for dinner service. The shifts for these positions are short, quick, and efficient. Just like many establishments in the industry, we keep our staffing processes focused on financial success for our team while having strong standards for service. This results in us making adjustments or "cutts" as needed during service. Sometimes, shifts will run slightly longer/shorter based on volume.

Host job description:

• greet guests at the door with customer service and poise
• handle reservations and flow of seating via digital floor plan
• help servers bus tables and reset for service
• maintain our digital waitlist and communicate with guests in queue
• $10/hour plus 1% tip out of sales from service staff

Expo job description:

• perform as a liaison between kitchen and service staff
• implement responsible ticket times and fulfillment of orders
• garnish and plate orders correctly
• run orders to the correct table/guest
• $20/hour

Please note that all staff at our establishment is cross-trained. Candidates can expect to be scheduled for both positions.

For those who reside outside of the neighborhood and will be unable to walk to work, transportation to our establishment is extremely accessible via bus commutes. However, for those that intend to drive, be aware parking is scarce.
