Day to day as a Site Acquisitions Supervisor

In this position, you will directly manage engineering personnel to ensure high-performance standards and project efficiency. This role requires a strong capability to effectively oversee essential duties while fostering a collaborative team environment. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Provide staff direction and support including but not limited to safety, work scheduling, and coordination hiring of personnel, appraisals, timesheet and expense report approvals.
• Manage the engineering staff to complete assigned tasks.
• Project Management Responsibilities:
  • Interact directly with the project coordinator in developing the overall construction schedule.
  • Provide feedback on engineering work status and other factors that affect schedule.
  • Coordinate manpower availability to match production schedule.
• Reporting/Communication Responsibilities:
  • Identify and resolve team problems in a timely manner; work well in group problem solving situations; balance team and individual responsibilities; contribute to building a positive team spirit; align group commitments to goals and objectives; inspire respect and trust; provide vision and inspiration to peers and subordinates.
