Job Description
Position Purpose:
The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the purchasing department, including building relationships with trade partners to better position the company both internally and externally.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for maintaining and supporting specific trades, including, but not limited to, bidding, analyzing, and finalizing costs.
· Supporting the implementation of various procedures across the company.
· Implementing new procedures and tools to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Rationalizing existing data for more efficient methods.
Qualifications:
· Minimum one year of experience in home building industry preferred, but not required.
· Strong computer skills with an extremely high emphasis on Excel.
· Detail-oriented and organized
· Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
· Ability to review and manage mass amount of data.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· BRIX experience preferred, but not required.
· 4-year college degree preferred, but not required.
