Job Summary
The Human Resource Assistant will be collaborate with other functional areas to ensure the efficient operations of the Stoughton, WI facility. The Human Resource Assistant will utilize their eye for talent in the recruitment endeavors for the entire facility. The Human Resource Assistant will also work closely with payroll and benefits to ensure the alignment of employee selections and benefit plan designs.
Must be authorized to work in the United States. The company is unable to sponsor visas at this time.
Position Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers on sourcing, screening and onboarding talent
• Utilize experience negotiating partnerships with outside vendors on recruitment endeavors or event coordination
• Partner with the Plant Superintendent in the interpretation of the collective bargaining agreement as it relates to staffing and employee relations
• Formulate cross functional partnerships to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives
• Be influential, articulate and persuasive, a relationship builder- establishing credibility with both internal team members and customers or vendors
• Flexibility, adaptability and discretion to be able to respond rapidly to unexpected events, having the ability to develop creative solutions to problems
• Communicate with corporate leaders regarding organizational and people related issues/situations
• Must be able to perform other duties assigned by management.

• Experience supporting a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong interpersonal, decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good organizational skills are critical due to pressures of multi-tasking demands
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications
• ADP payroll and HRIS experience preferred

Education and Technical Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in business or other functional area with practical human resource experience
• Two to five years’ experience in human resources in a manufacturing setting
• Candidates with experience working with union delegations will be given preference

Schedule

• Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
