Basic Function:

Assist Executive management with various administrative tasks including creating reports and presentations and assisting with special projects. Assist HR department with a variety of administrative tasks as needed, including clerical, recruiting and hiring paperwork and reception tasks.

Essential Duties:

· Prepare reporting and presentations for all Executive management while maintaining strict confidentiality. Reports and presentations may be prepared in English and Japanese.

· Assist in researching, collecting, analyzing and disseminating information as requested by Executive team

· Perform clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, expense reports and other documents as requested for senior staff

· Assist Executive team with scheduling meetings, taking notes and recording meeting minutes

· Assist Executive team with routine office tasks including maintaining digital records and filing

· Manage UniSea’s social media presence by posting industry messaging on UniSea’s account, responding to social media inquiries and expanding UniSea’s Social Media outreach and presence

Secondary Duties:

· Assist Redmond Receptionist to provide phone and front desk coverage as needed

· Assist other departments with administrative and clerical functions as needed

· Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

· 2 years of college or equivalent in administrative setting

· Minimum 2 months experience in administrative work

· Ability to speak, read and write in Japanese to communicate with the parent company, Nissui, and prepare documents between UniSea, Inc. and Nissui

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required

· Must possess good communication and organizational skills as well as excellent customer service skills

· Ability to interact in a positive manner with diverse cultures in a team environment

This is a salaried non-exempt position with a salary of $39,135 - $45,000 per year.
