Education And Experience
- Associates degree or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years field sales experience, preferably in an industrial setting and with end users
- Proven success managing and supervising a geographically diverse sales team
- Up-to-date knowledge on industrial distribution practices and trends
- Demonstrated sales follow-up skills
- Knowledge of welding, metal fabricating, woodworking and power tools helpful – will provide additional on-site training
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong relationship management skills and ability to interface with all levels of an organization
- Uncover new sales opportunities and nurture them into customers
- Excellent presentation skills required
- Manage and consistently update a CRM to track sales leads
- Must have great time-territory management skills with the ability to travel approximately 50% of the time (access to transportation and a valid driver’s license required)
