Position: Quality Auditor
Location: Janesville, WI
Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: 2nd Shift – 2:00pm – 10:00pm; Monay - Friday (OT as required)

Reports To: QA Supervisor

How will you make a difference?

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on products at various stages of production.
  • Cross-check products against prints, drawings, inspection sheets, and quality criteria.
  • Issue and maintain calibration of gauges used in inspection processes.
  • Record and maintain accurate inspection data.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Communicate quality alerts and concerns effectively across the organization.
  • Exercise authority to halt production when non-conforming parts are detected.
  • Assist in training operations personnel on quality expectations.

What are we hoping for?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related quality function.
  • Strong understanding of metal fabrication concepts and processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the 12 Expected Behaviors of an Actively Engaged Person.
