United Bank of Southwest Alabama & Northwest Flori is Hiring an Accounting Analyst Near Atmore, AL
The Accounting Analyst reports to the Chief Financial Officer. The primary role of this position is to perform analytical tasks related to the Accounting, Finance, and CDFI areas of the bank.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Translate strategic goals into measurable Key Performance Indicators.
- Understand current market conditions and proactively contribute to updating forecasts.
- Implement annual budget process.
- Initiate improvement processes and establish, control, and measure implementation.
- Conduct financial analysis and develop Financial Scenario Analysis.
- Report sales, revenue, and expense results to management to allow for timely changes to be made and goals to be achieved.
- Own certain systems and act as Administrator for future updates, training, and modifications.
- Produce and review financial and Board reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and risks.
- Forecast future investment or resource needs.
- Participate in merger and acquisition activities, system conversions, and other projects/duties as assigned.
- Streamline data collection from multiple sources to create automatic and easy to use routines.
