United Comb & Novelty Corp is Hiring an Inventory Control Associate Near Sardis, MS
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure accuracy of items in stock such as Implementing and executing site cycle count program.
- Record and maintain control of all inventory by processing inventory from floor, locating inventory in warehouse, accurately performing daily cycle counts and record maintenance.
- Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies, troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records.
- Help Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs.
- Track records of accuracy, purchase and return, and defective items to inform quality control decisions.
- Help prepare, generate, and file financial reports and review with management periodically.
- Serves as the backup to Shipping and Receiving functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of related experience in retail, wholesale warehousing or logistics
- Minimum of one year experience working in a warehouse management system, IQMS preferred.
- Excellent computer skills (MS office applications).
- Strong team player who remains positive and flexible amidst changing priorities
- Physically able to lift between 1—35 lbs, sit climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be on your feet for 8 hours a day
- Able to travel and have means of transportation.
- Superior organizational and communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English fluently; Spanish/English bilingual a plus
- Forklift experience a plus
- General understanding of supply chain, production, inventory management concepts
