UCFS is looking for candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others! We are currently seeking a full-time (35hr) Clinician to provide array of intensive, clinical gambling treatment services for individuals, age 18 years or older, who exhibit problem or pathological gambling behavior as well as the individual’s family and significant other. Treatment services may include individual, group, family, couples sessions for 3-9 hours per week.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical gambling assessment and continuum of client centered care treatment consistent with gambling evidence based practice that result in improved outcomes for clients.
• Provide initial appointment within 48 hours of initial contact.
• Maintain documentation standards (inclusive of proficiency with electronic documentation) for all records required by agency licensees and payer sources such as DMHAS, CT-BHP, and Medicaid within a timely fashion. Note: Billable services for a Clinician I require approval and sign-off of a Licensed Supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with Peer Counselor, psychiatrists and other providers to coordinate client care.
• Assess level of risk and appropriate level of care with program clients who may present in crisis with complex and long term mental health and/or substance abuse issues.

Requirements

• Master's degree (MA, MFT, MSW)
• This position is open to both experienced clinicians and new graduates
• CT State Licensure eligible for LCSW, LMFT, LPC
• Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills including effective use of EPIC (our electronic health record system)
• Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred with pay differential offered
