We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Supervisor to oversee and manage the work of QC Technicians, maintain DOT and PCI certifications, and provide thorough inspections to ensure our concrete products meet specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities :

• Hold monthly quality control training meetings and maintain personnel training records.
• Maintain and acquire DOT Certifications for the plant and DOT approval for mix designs, aggregate, sand, cement, etc.
• Maintain plant PCI certifications.
• Ensure that concrete products meet various specifications, including PCI (Precast / Prestressed Concrete Institute), ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials), AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials), and other local and company-specific requirements.
• Oversee and document all concrete testing, including air, slump, temperature, unit weight, and cylinder tests. Take corrective action as needed to maintain product quality.
• Maintain records of cylinder breaks per company quality control standards and PCI requirements.
• Inspect raw materials and fresh concrete during batching and after testing to confirm they meet specifications.
• Ensure the use of proper mix designs for each product type.
• Operate and maintain quality equipment according to manuals and instructions.
• Conduct random inspections and documentation of wire cage fabrication.
• Inspect loads leaving the plant to ensure accuracy and quality.
