SCOPEPrepare yourself for a challenging role and intense workload in this exhilarating Human Resources career. The temporary HR Generalist partner position provides proactive human resource consulting as a business partner to the entire organization. Consults in all aspects of human resources including employment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits. Relies on judgment and experience.
Responsibilities
- Advise management and employees on Human Capital related policies and their interpretation and application.
- Ensure the Company’s compliance with laws affecting employment.
- Assist in administering discipline.
- Assist in managing involuntary terminations.
- Assist with leaves of absence interactive process.
- Creates best practices.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; and maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
- Other Projects as assigned
- 7-10 years as a Human Resources Generalist or equivalent experience and training; understanding all aspects of the field.
- Bachelor Degree
- PHR, SPHR, PHR-CA, SPHR-CA
- Bilingual in Spanish plus.
- Extensive MS Office
- Advanced presentation skills
- Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
- Must read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to lift to 35 lbs.
