Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Location: Mt. Pleasant, Iowa
Hourly Pay Rate: $24/hr
Shift: 14:00 - 22:30
Duration: 13 weeks Position
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Providing basic nursing care, such as taking vital signs, measuring input and output, and assisting with mobility.
- Assisting with the feeding and hydration of residents, ensuring they receive adequate nutrition and hydration.
- Observing and reporting changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.
- Promoting a safe and comfortable environment for residents, adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and caring atmosphere.
- Documenting all care provided accurately and in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and current certification.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work afternoon shifts as required by the position.
- Competitive hourly pay rate of $24/hr.
