RN Surgery Position in Columbus, OH
- Hourly Pay Rate: $61/hr
- Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 (Day Shift)
- Contract Duration: 3 Months
- Certifications Required: BLS by AHA (Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association)
- Minimum Experience: 1 year
Requirements
- At least one year of experience working as a surgery nurse (RN).
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
- Ability to work the specified shift of 07:00 to 19:30.
- Excellent knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Prepare patients for surgery, including physical and emotional support.
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and condition during surgery.
- Provide postoperative care, ensuring patients' recovery and comfort.
- Maintain sterile techniques and a safe operating environment.
- Document patient information accurately and promptly.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.
