LPN Position in Abilene, TXHourly Pay Rate: $41/hr Shift: Day and Night shifts available Contract Duration: 3 Months Certifications Required: BLS by AHA (Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association) Minimum Experience: 1 year
Job Description: An LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) is responsible for providing basic medical care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors. Duties include monitoring patients' health, administering basic patient care, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience working as an LPN.
  • BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to work both day and night shifts as needed.
  • Strong clinical and patient care skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and overall health.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist with patient hygiene and mobility.
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
