Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician
Location: Fort Madison, IA, 52627
Company: United Healthcare System
Job Type: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evening Shift, 2:00pm to 10:30pm
Salary: $42:00 per hour
ResponsibilitiesConduct a variety of complex laboratory tests, analyses, and procedures to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. Perform tasks such as specimen collection, processing, and analysis using sophisticated laboratory equipment. Ensure accuracy and precision in laboratory test results by adhering to quality control standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide valuable insights. Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and methodologies. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLS) or equivalent.
- State licensure as required.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in laboratory techniques.
- Knowledge of laboratory information systems and data management.
