Director of Memory Care

(Memory Support Services)

Full Time Days 8am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday with every 4th weekend rotation

United Methodist Communities in Camden County, a 5-Star full-service senior living community that is a model in person-centered care community, located in beautiful Collingswood, NJ is seeking a Director of Memory Care.

Our Memory Care Director is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, directing and controlling all functions and activities for teh MSR community. The Director leads and manages in accordance with customer needs, government regulations, and the UMC mission, vision, policy, and procedures while also adhering to business and financial objectives. Our Memory Care Director will create and implement programs allowing those with memory impairment to live a fulfiling life.

Requirements for a Director of Memory Care:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Genrontology, Psychology, or Social Work
• Master's Degree preferrred
• 2 or more years' experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia resident care
• Experience or knowledge of Long Term Care programs and services

Responsibilities for a Memory Care Director:

• Plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control functions and acvitiies of the MSR community.
• Responsible for inspections and surveys.
• Responsible for resident assessment process completion.
• Chairs varius committees within the organization.
• Creates and implements a program allowing those with memory impairment to live a fulfilling life.
