What you'll do:Performs patient care activities, including maintaining optimal physical and emotional comforts toward achieving maximum self-reliance and independence within the Day Clinic or participants homes. Activities will include providing basic ADLs, documentation, reporting changes in participants conditions, and other tasks as assigned to assist the primary care, therapy, and healthcare staff. Works under the direct and indirect supervision of the Participant Care Manager but is independent in the application of nursing knowledge and skills.

What it Takes:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be currently certified as a Certified Nurse Aide, and have proof of eligibility to work as a CNA in the State of Michigan (Prometric certificate).
• CPR certification is required.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid MI drivers license.
• Flexibility to provide coverage in the evening and on weekends.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the elderly is required.
