Non-Exempt, hourly | 40 hours per week

Location | Department: Brio Corporate | Marketing | Hybrid: Chelsea or Grand Rapids

Overview:

The Marketing and Creative Assistant works with the marketing department to assist in the development and execution of various marketing initiatives. This position requires creativity, organization, and a passion for marketing and design.

What you’ll do:

Marketing 

  • Collaborate to brainstorm and develop creative marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including but not limited to, social media content, email campaigns, advertisements, and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate and manage the production of marketing materials.
  • Assist with invoicing and follow-up regarding printing prices and payments.
  • Capture photographs or videos of events, team members, and groups.
  • Develop and maintain updated promotional, vendors, networking and referral lists.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team.

Creative

  • Assist in the development and execution of design concepts from concept to completion.
  • Create and edit graphics, illustrations, and layouts using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Support the design team in preparing files for print and digital distribution, including formatting, optimizing, and proofreading.
  • Assist with photo editing and retouching.
  • Research design trends, techniques, and best practices to stay informed and inspired.

What it takes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field. A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
  • Previous experience in marketing or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
