United Pacific is Hiring a Manager, Field Marketing Programs Near Saint Louis, MO

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Manager, Field Marketing Programs to lead and execute our marketing initiatives at retail locations. This pivotal role requires a leader who can effectively partner with Retail Operations, Marketing, and Facilities Management teams to ensure the flawless execution of marketing programs, store remodels, equipment upgrades, and POG resets. This field-based position involves regular store visits to assess and enhance the execution of our marketing strategies, ensuring that every store reflects our brand’s vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Execution: Lead the development and implementation of project plans to ensure the successful execution of key marketing initiatives and store projects.
  • Effective Communication: Serve as the liaison between store and field management, ensuring clear communication of changes and the importance of maintaining these changes for optimal store performance.
  • Proactive Management: Keep key stakeholders updated on the progress of marketing programs, anticipating and mitigating potential challenges to meet set timelines.
  • Sales & Merchandising Insight: Provide essential sales and merchandising information to the marketing and operations teams to support effective program execution.
  • Product Placement: Direct product placement execution in stores according to schematics, seasonal cycles, and display placements.
  • Store Layout Recommendations: Offer tailored store layout recommendations to Category Managers based on individual store and regional needs.
  • Site Assessments: Conduct regular store visits to inspect equipment conditions, identify needed repairs or replacements, and validate product placements and displays.
  • Enhancement Recommendations: Recommend product or service level improvements to enhance retail performance.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with merchandise vendors, suppliers, and the maintenance department to ensure timely arrival and installation of merchandise and display systems.
  • Market Insights: Provide Marketing with observations from the field to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Display Optimization: Oversee the proper placement of promotional materials, ensuring effective communication of new promotions and offers to attract customers.
  • Material Logistics: Ensure the successful transportation and assembly of materials for store resets or remodels through effective coordination with store leadership.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Support additional projects and duties as assigned to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in field marketing or retail operations.
  • Leadership experience in store merchandising, preferably in the convenience store industry.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding P&L and CapEx reports.
  • Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to convey ideas and processes clearly to a diverse audience.
  • Valid Driver’s License with proof of insurance and a safe driving record.
