Position : Nuclear Medicine Technologist
$65/Hour , 13 Week Contract , 36Hours / Week
Shift Info : 7:30AM to 4:00pm - no on call
- 1 Year of experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist required.
- BLS Certification required.
- NMCTB Certification required.
- CNMT Certification required.
Job Summary:
- Under the supervision of the Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Director of Radiology, Chairman or Manager, the nuclear medicine technologist performs nuclear medicine imaging procedures and related techniques resulting in the interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed independent practitioner.
- Follows professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Performs Nuclear Medicine diagnostic or therapeutic procedures in accordance and within the scope ofpractice and departmental standards.
- Assesses pertinent information. Prepares and educates patient for procedures and expectations.
- Completes documentation of patient care and procedure.
- Utilizes the hospital and departmental information, technology systems and equipment operations.
- Maintains a level of productivity, adaptability, flexibility and timeliness in managing workload andprocesses required to meet patient care and department needs.
- Adheres to department policy and procedures and practices modality specific safety protocols.
- Actively engages in departmental meetings, modality meetings, and committee initiatives.
