The General Manager will oversee and direct all aspects of restaurant operations. This includes achieving sales and profit levels; maintaining Arkins high food quality standards; and commitment to the company's standards of excellence. Most importantly, Managers are responsible for setting the tone for each shift and leading their team with passion for our guests' experiences.

We want Leaders, Coaches, Mentors, and Trainers to help us operate the home of the "Best BBQ in Town". We are proud of our authentic kitchen, in-house smoked meats, homemade sides and desserts. Our ideal Manager has no problems digging in and getting things done, works hard and has a drive to be the absolute best in what we do. Our ideal candidate has proven leadership skills and a minimum of 2 years' experience managing


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the restaurant including staff supervision, customer service, and financial performance.
  • Interview, hire, train, and schedule employees.
  • Oversee food preparation, ensuring quality and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
  • Have a basic understanding of Health Department food and safety standards.
  • Arrive daily in proper uniform.
  • Maintain and clean and organized restaurant.

    • Previous experience in a restaurant management role.
    • Strong knowledge of food service operations, including food preparation, kitchen management, and culinary techniques.
    • Poven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
    • Familiarity with budgeting, cost control measures, and inventory management.

      Physical Requirements:

      • Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 30 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice, or trash removal.
      • Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift


      Schedule:

      • Ability to meet schedule requirements and is a reliable performer.
      • Ability to work up to a 40-55 hour work week
      • Ability to work 5 days per week, but occasionally works six days per week.
