United States Senate is Hiring a Staff Assistant Near Baton Rouge, LA
Senator Cassidy seeks a Staff Assistant in his Baton Rouge office.
Ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and highly-motivated with excellent oral and written communication skills. The Staff Assistant’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Answering phones and maintaining office voicemail, greeting office visitors, assisting individuals who have appointments with the Senator or other staff members, answering constituent requests for general information and ensuring that requests for assistance are directed to the appropriate staff member, drafting daily summary of constituent input, monitoring and sorting incoming mail, maintaining the front office, assisting with various administrative duties and coordinating the Senator’s in-state internship program. A writing sample is required.
