Job Title: Veterinary technician

United Veterinary Center a small privately owned hospital is seeking compassionate, enthusiastic individuals to join our team of veterinary technicians and assistants. Responsibilities include assisting with appointments, performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging, implementing anesthetic, surgical, and dental protocols, client communication and education.
Our veterinary technicians use their medical knowledge and clinical skills to provide routine and urgent care every day. As one of our team members you will be performing diagnostics tests and collecting diagnostic specimens, administering medications and treatments, preparing animals for surgery, monitoring anesthesia during medical procedures, restraining animals in a fear-free way and providing education to the owners of the pets that walk through our door.

Qualifications
- Veterinary experience
- Animal handling and restraint skills
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy
- Experience in animal catheterization and pet care
- Ability to handle urgent care situations
- Proficiency in medication administration
- Familiarity with dog handling and X-Ray procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
