Community Impact Coordinator

The role of the Community Impact Coordinator falls under two main areas of responsibility:

1) Call Center Specialist and 2) Donor Support Services

Area of Responsibility: 211 Call Center Specialist

• Greet callers, determine their needs, and provide necessary information and assistance
• Provide information and referrals
• Document call data accurately and in a timely manner in 211 Software
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of correspondence related to job activities
• Update information and referral data for all counties covered by the United Way of Lee County call center
• Actively search for new resources for database
• Maintain all mandated quotas set by the state 211 users group
• Provide reports on clients served and services provided
• Participate with Lee County VOAD as needed (EMA)
• Attend community fairs and meetings as required
• Provide 211 support for EMA during local disasters

Area of Responsibility: Donor Support Services

The employee will work with the Campaign Manager and Executive Director with planning and implementation of the following:

• CRM Database Management
• Assist with account card management
• Receipt of donations in CRM software
• Production of weekly “turn-in” reports during campaign and as requested by Executive Director
• Assist with weekly “turn-in” meetings during campaign
• Input/reconciliation of pledge/payment data into CRM and maintenance of pledge cards
• Generating and distributing donor “Thank you” letters and related materials
• Accurately record deposit slips for the bank and reconcile with reports
• Monthly A/R reports to Bookkeeper
• Assist with preparation for annual audit

Other Duties

1. Assist with mail pick-up and distribution, make deposits, attend meetings and other responsibilities as requested by the Executive Director
2. Order Office supplies as needed
3. Other duties as requested by the Executive Director

Qualifications:

1. Educational: BA/BS degree in a related field or prior professional experience in related area

2. Personal: Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written directions. Pleasant personality, professional personal appearance with attention to neatness and grooming. Self-motivated. Good verbal skills and ability to relate to others. Team-player attitude. Must be able to speak clearly and effectively in front of both large and small groups. Attention to professional ethics and standards, sense of loyalty and commitment to the organization’s mission, personal codes of honesty and trust, flexibility and ability to accept and handle changes, and be efficient and effective with people and paperwork. Attention to detail and neatness in work.

3. Employee must be bondable for insurance purposes.
