The Business Process Coordinator provides Risk Adjustment support to provider groups, DataRAP staff and vendors. Responsibilities include (not limited to) providing feedback on DataRAP programs and processes. Ensures clinician satisfaction; maintains accountability throughout the annual chart retrieval and review process. Supports reconciling vendor invoices and incentive payments to providers. This position collaborates with multiple departments, stakeholders and operational partners in all markets. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform the coordinator role through support of the annual chart retrieval and review process with provider groups and vendors
  • Ensure consistent high-quality communication is provided to leadership, vendors and clinical staff
  • Adhere and stay up-to-date on all changes to internal workflows, business rules, policies, and procedures
  • Utilize relevant software applications (e.g., Excel; Word; SharePoint; Outlook)
  • Generates reports to DataRAP leaders/staff with relevant/timely information
  • Gather information and assist with reconciling vendor invoicing and supporting incentive payments
  • Responsible for contacting and scheduling provider offices using various retrieval methods including mail, fax, electronic, and on-site as well as recording detailed documentation of all outreaches
  • Scheduling and coordinating with vendors and provider offices to ensure medical record appointments are completed as efficiently as possible
  • Provide support and education to provider offices to ensure efficient retrieval of medical records
  • Resolve problems by clarifying issues, researching and providing alternative solutions
  • Support inbound calls from provider offices, which can include but is not limited to preparing, sending and receiving correspondence externally and internally
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2 years of experience in a clinical and/or business setting or equivalent in advanced education
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid customer service skills, ability to problem solve and remain detail oriented
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and handling of Healthcare administration confidentiality (i.e. HIPAA and PHI)
  • Have excellent time management skills, be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work under strict timelines with minimal day-to-day supervision
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant data confidentiality and in accordance to guidelines (e.g., HIPAA compliance) and supports provider contact verification
  • Demonstrated understanding of fundamental health-care related terminology
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Power Point, Word, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in healthcare business or related degree
  • 2 years of experience in a physician's clinic or hospital
