Optum is seeking a Call Center Nurse RN to join our team.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges. 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; 40 hours per week; opportunity to work limited evenings or weekends for overtime

Dress Code: Scrubs or Business Casual

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Administer field based Independent Assessments to beneficiaries
• Daily travel to and from appointments; locations include provider offices, beneficiary homes, and other community meeting locations within areas served by Arkansas Department of Human Services
• Communicate in a culturally sensitive manner
• Prioritize and organize your own work to meet agreed upon deadlines
• Work independently; require little assistance with standard and non-standard requests
• Work with supervisor to solve more complex problems
• Work with others as part of a team

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree (or higher) in Nursing OR 2 years of equivalent experience in Nursing
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Arkansas
• 1 year of experience working directly with clients of all ages
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Windows and Office 365 computer environment
• Reliable transportation for travel to and from appointments at provider offices, client homes, and/or other designated locations within a specific region in Arkansas

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to transport 5-10 pounds regularly (lap top computer, hot spot, and cell phone)
• The ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to move safely in confined spaces
• The ability to see and respond to challenging situations
• The ability to navigate in various weather situations
• The ability to display sound knowledge of road safety regulations
• The ability to display a working knowledge of local roads and routes
• The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems and car manuals
