Under relatively close supervision, repair, calibrate, and maintain all types of basic clinical equipment technologies, devices, instruments, and systems. Inspect, install, and provide preventative maintenance of general clinical equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic biomedical instrumentation and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment, devices, and systems
• Diagnose and correct system and equipment malfunctions
• Maintain documentation on new equipment, inspections, and equipment repairs and failures
• Schedule and oversee third-party repair as necessary

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in electronic or biomedical equipment technology
• 6 month’s experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted

New York Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $28.03 to $54.95 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
