Positions in this function offer sales support and administrative services to non-employee sales producers such as broker agents, field marketing organizations, and independent contract agents with the goal of providing proactive identification of educational materials, activities, and other resources that will empower sales agents, enabling greater sales success and growth of their UnitedHealthcare books of business, ensuring proper completion of contracts, marketing agreements, and documentation of sales targets. May administer programs and monitoring to ensure compliance with external agent credentialing and training requirements. Acts as internal liaison and customer service resource for external producers relative to enrollment and policy questions, systems issues, and coordination of materials fulfillment. As one aspect of broader support role, may manage administrative aspects of commission payments such as routine tracking, reporting, and troubleshooting issues relative to missing or disputed payments.

If you are located in Colorado Springs, CO, you will have the flexibility to work remotely *, as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges. This role would require the employee to be in the office 2 times per week and 50% field work.  (Weekends are required at various times of the year)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for daily/weekly/monthly activities and performance of team members
• Coordinates work activities with other supervisors, managers, departments, operational sites, etc.
• Identifies and resolves operations problems using defined processes and process improvement techniques
• Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met, such as Quality, Adherence, Service Level and AHT
• Provides coaching and feedback to team members in order to provide best in class sales enablement, support, and an elevated experience to agents with each interaction
• Manages operational discipline of team with formal corrective action and performance improvement plans when applicable
• Conducts quarterly performance reviews and weekly side-by-side monitoring sessions as well as one on one sessions
• Provides expertise and sales enablement support to agents and customers
• Handles escalated issues as they arise
• Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit
• Impact of work is most often at the team level

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 years of experience as a Supervisor or Team Lead
• 1 years of experience in a Sales Support Call Center Customer Service role
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Word (create and edit correspondence), Excel (create and edit spreadsheets), and PowerPoint (create and edit presentation)
• Ability to work a flex schedule between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm CST Monday through Friday (Weekends are required at various times of the year)
• Willing to work Hybrid scheduled of 2 days per week in the Colorado Springs office and 50% in the field
• Live in Colorado Springs, CO, or within traveling distance

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $58,300 to $114,300 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
