Growing together.Be a part of the national marketing team responsible for creating and delivering marketing strategies for the Medicare Advantage (MA) and Dual Special Needs Plans (DSNP). Marketing managers work directly with their assigned regional partners to help them reach member acquisition and retention goals each year. Strategies include but are not limited to direct marketing and media campaigns as well as field marketing strategies and materials. Marketing managers must have deep knowledge of the business model supporting MA and DSNP sales as well as all initiatives taking place nationally. They will then collaborate with local sales and health plan partners to suggest and implement CMS-approved strategies for each specific market.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges; A hybrid work schedule in Minnetonka, MN is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop local media strategies as appropriate for markets and work with vendors to execute on those strategies in collaboration with sales and plan leadership
  • Have knowledge of CMS requirements for creation of marketing materials and sales activities
  • Work with internal agency partners in the development of marketing assets
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with the national sales, plan leadership and field sales agents
  • Gain an understanding of the product, the community and the business plan for each of your assigned markets
  • Provide reporting and understanding around local campaigns to national and plan leadership
  • Have a basic understanding of the overall financial model and the specific marketing budget for each plan
  • Manage administrative dues as required such as invoicing, tracking documents and production grids
  • Help to promote best practices for national strategies in each of the plans you represent
  • Manage the set-up and the delivery of field marketing materials; this includes updates for brand and for benefit/product changes each year

Required Qualifications
  • 3 years of marketing experience
  • Direct to consumer marketing experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of health care industry experience
  • Experience managing agency partner relationship
  • Customer/account management experience

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
